Join us for our 3rd annual Institute International Study Trip each year as we embark on an experience of deep personal insight, group study/reflection centered upon birth, breath, and death, service, and remarkable exploration.

Join Tobie Spears, founder and director of Be Humanitarian, Wilka Roig, founder and president of the Fundación Elisabeth Kübler-Ross México Centro, and Amy Wright Glenn, founder and director of the Institute for the Study of Birth, Breath, and Death, for transformative personal and professional learning in Jamaica.

Participants will engage in self-care practice, group study, service work, and meaningful interactions with local birth and death workers in Jamaica. Participants will have the opportunity to honor their powerful dedication to deepening awareness of birth and death practices within the context of contemporary Jamaican life as well as the practice of self-care and discovery through personal journal writing, meditation, yoga, Qigong practice, and group discussion.

Mornings will begin with meditation, Qigong and/or yoga practice. Days are dedicated to the independent and group study and significance of birth and death practices while day excursions let us explore cultural sites, local markets, and natural wonders. Participants will also engage with social justice work supporting local birth and death workers, educational and nutritional initiatives.
